About NewRolly's Study Hall
Pokémon Sleep is a game that doesn’t explain itself very well. Mechanics are layered, progression is slow, and getting a truly great Pokémon is rarer than most players realize. A lot of people play for weeks—or months—before understanding how stats, subskills, natures, and production actually work together.
NewRolly’s Study Hall exists to fix that. We break down how the game works, set realistic expectations about what RNG will give you, and help you prioritize your gameplay so the time you spend playing feels worthwhile.
What you’ll find here
The site has two sides that work together: guides that explain game mechanics clearly, and interactive tools that let you experience those mechanics for yourself. We don’t just tell you that good catches are rare—you can roll hundreds of virtual biscuits and see it firsthand.
Our articles cover everything from how the game works and how stats are determined to why RNG feels unfair and how to reach Master 20. Tools like Unlimited Biscuits (our Pokémon grader and build roller), the production simulator, and the leveling calculator let you test ideas without spending real resources in-game.
Whether you’re a new player trying to make sense of everything, or a veteran looking for deeper strategy, the goal is the same: help you understand the game so you can make better decisions at your own pace.
Who makes this
NewRolly’s Study Hall is built and maintained by iBenBrown, also known as iBenBrown on YouTube. The YouTube channel covers Pokémon Sleep strategy, RNG explainers, and game updates. The site is the companion resource—a place where the ideas from those videos become guides, tools, and references you can use anytime.
This is a fan-made project. It’s not affiliated with Pokémon, Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, or Pokémon Sleep. All game data is sourced from publicly available community resources, credited on our Sources page.
Why “Study Hall”?
Because this isn’t a wiki or a database dump. It’s a place to actually learn—to understand the why behind the numbers, not just the numbers themselves. The “Professor NewRolly” character you’ll see around the site is the guide: authoritative but approachable, here to help you get smarter about the game without making it feel like homework.
